UHAMKA Signs an MoU with Pangasinan State University
Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) expanded its international cooperation network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pangasinan State University (PSU) Philippines in Meeting Room I, Floor 4, FEB UHAMKA, Wednesday (19/2).
The signing of the MoU between UHAMKA and Pangasinan University is cooperation and collaboration between the two institutions in developing progress in the fields of research and education as well as strengthening the relationship between the two institutions which has existed since 2018 with the beginning of collaboration between faculties with FKIP and FEB UHAMKA.
The activity was attended by Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA, Renato E. Salcedo as Campus Executive Director of PSU Philippines, Anisia Kumala as Deputy Chancellor I of UHAMKA, Prof. Nani So seeni as Deputy Chancellor III UHAMKA, Emaridial Ulza as University Secretary, Purnama Syae Purrohman as Dean of FKIP UHAMKA, Prof. Zulpahmi as Dean of FEB UHAMKA, as well as delegates from PSU Philippines, Deputy Deans from FKIP and FEB UHAMKA, Members of the UHAMKA Ranking and Cooperation Institute (LPK).
Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA said that UHAMKA and PSU Philippines have been collaborating for quite a long time. In this case, an extension of the MoU was signed between the two parties, regarding educational research and community service.
“Since 2018, we have been collaborating in the fields of education and economics. Of course, we hope that in the future it will be more widespread in other study programs,” said Prof. Gunawan.
On the other hand, Renato E. Salcedo as Executive Director of PSU Philippines said that UHAMKA is a university that has proven its excellence, especially in the fields of research and scientific publications, so that this collaboration can be realized between UHAMKA and PSU Philippines.
“We chose UHAMKA as a partner in this collaboration because UHAMKA is a superior campus, especially in the field of research and publication of scientific journals,” said Renato.
