UHAMKA Faculty of Psychology Welcomes Guest Lecturers from Malaysia
Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) held a Guest Lecturer in the Basics of Psychology course with the theme Empowering Counselors with Diverse Abilities: Mastering Counseling Skills through Effective Interview and Observation Strategies, A.R. Hall. Fachrudin, II floor, UHAMKA Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Building, Thursday (26/9).
This event was also attended by Subhan El Hafiz as Dean of FPsi UHAMKA, Ilham Mundzir as Deputy Dean III and IV of FPsi UHAMKA, Puti Archianti as Head of Psychology Study Program FPsi UHAMKA, Ahmad Shamsuri bin Muhamad as resource person and Head of the Psychology and Counseling Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya, and stakeholders.
Subhan El Hafiz as Dean of FPsi UHAMKA said that the aim of this guest lecturer activity was to provide inspiration to UHAMKA students so that they could learn from anyone or any situation in achieving success.
“Through the story of Mr. Ahmad Shamsuri Muhamad’s journey and struggle, we got inspiration. The limitations each individual has can be overcome if they are willing to try as hard as possible, so that in the future we can reap the results of success from the efforts we have made,” said Subhan.
On the same occasion, Ahmad Shamsuri bin Muhamad as a resource person and Head of the Psychology and Counseling Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya advised the UHAMKA Psychology students to study diligently and try to achieve success. Of course he reminded us to continue praying to accompany the efforts being made.
“To the UHAMKA Psychology students, I wish you good luck and keep trying, because only you can determine your success in the future. However, you still have to pray to achieve success in the future,” said Ahmad Shamsuri.
