UHAMKA and Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia Support Professorship Development
Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) held an International Workshop and Professor Visit with the theme Achieving Publication In Reputable Journals (Pre-Ph.D. Coaching), Aula Ar. Fachrudin, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Building, Friday (17/1).
This event was also attended by Desvian Bandarsyah as Deputy Chancellor II UHAMKA, Muhammad Dwifajri as Deputy Chancellor IV UHAMKA, Prof. Zulpahmi as Dean of FEB UHAMKA, Dan Mugisidi as Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Information (FTII) UHAMKA, Prof. Rushami Zien Yusoff as Speaker from UMAM, Dwi Santoso as UMAM Representative, and stakeholders.i
Muhammad Dwifajri said that in the Muhammadiyah organization, publication is part of scientific da’wah. Because the aim of the research carried out is to develop science. Through scientific da’wah, the Muhammadiyah organization wants to produce a knowledgeable society, one of many ways is through the world of publications.
“The world of publications will not develop dynamically if scientific dialogue and journal publications do not develop well. To keep scientific da’wah developing well, cooperation is carried out between UHAMKA and UMAM,” said Fajri.
On the same occasion, Prof. Rushami Zien Yusoff as Speaker from UMAM said that the big impact of publications is very important in solving problems and issues that exist in society, where the role of university academics is expected to be able to create innovations in research that is published in a journal so that it can be published.
“As a doctor (Ph.D) we must broaden our horizons through research that has been tested through scientific publications, of course with the hope that it will be useful and become an innovation in the world of education,” said Prof. Rushami.
