UHAMKA Expands Access to PDSKU Education Across Regions

Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) held collaborative exploration activities with the Cianjur Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) in the context of efforts to develop the UHAMKA Off-Campus Main Campus (PSDKU) Study Program which was held on Wednesday (6/11).
The construction of the UHAMKA PSDKU will be intended for the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) and Counseling Guidance from the UHAMKA Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) which will later be facilitated in the Cianjur PDM integrated education area which is located in the Muhammadiyah Cianjur Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School area with a strategic location, namely in the middle of Cianjur City.
The activity was attended by Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA, Anisia Kumala as Deputy Chancellor I of UHAMKA, Muhammad Dwifajri as Deputy Chancellor IV of UHAMKA, Ahmad Suhaeri as Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau of UHAMKA, Purnama Syae Purrohman as Dean of FKIP UHAMKA, Ika Yatri as Deputy Dean I of FKIP UHAMKA and UHAMKA staikholders were also attended. Saepul Ulum as Chair of PDM Cianjur along with the ranks of PDM Cianjur representatives who attended the activity.
Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA said that it is hoped that this collaboration in the future can be realized with the establishment of PSDKU PGSD and BK UHAMKA in the Cianjur area as part of UHAMKA’s efforts to provide education to various regions in Indonesia.
“The exploration of this collaboration is a step for UHAMKA in providing higher education to areas including in Cianjur through the construction of PSDKU for the PGSD Study Program and BK FKIP UHAMKA. In the future, hopefully this exploration of cooperation can be realized so that the potential development of PSDKU UHAMKA can facilitate local people who want to study at UHAMKA,” said Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro.
Apart from exploring cooperation with PDM Cianjur, UHAMKA is also exploring cooperation with Al-Azhary School which in the future will also be followed up between the two parties UHAMKA and PDM Cianjur.
