Plans to Establish PSDKU, UHAMKA Receives Visit from PDM Cianjur to Collaborate
Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) received a visit from the Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah (PDM) Cianjur, Meeting Room I, Floor IV of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Building, Wednesday (25/9).
This event was also attended by Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA, Anisia Kumala as Deputy Chancellor I of UHAMKA, Muhammad Dwifajri as Deputy Chancellor IV of UHAMKA, Saepul Ulum as Chair of PDM Cianjur, Yose Rizal as Secretary of PDM Cianjur, Abdul Haris as PDM Cianjur, and Dadan Slamet Riyadi as Treasurer of PDM Cianjur.
Prof. Gunawan Suryoputro as Chancellor of UHAMKA said that PDM Cianjur invited UHAMKA to collaborate in the field of higher education development and tourism education development in the Cianjur area. His party responded well to opportunities for collaboration with PDM Cianjur, including establishing a Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) in Cianjur.
“Alhamdulillah, this is a good opportunity for PDM Cianjur collaboration, including the establishment of PSDKU UHAMKA. Later, of course, superior accredited study programs will be presented in Cianjur. This is also not only for participation in improving Human Resources (HR) but also as a medium for the organization’s da’wah,” said Pro. Gunawan.
Meanwhile, Saepul Ulum as Chair of PDM Cianjur said that apart from holding a friendly relationship with UHAMKA, he was also strengthening cooperation regarding plans to establish PSDKU in Cianjur.
“Thank God, today we invite and ask UHAMKA to provide assistance so that PSDKU can be established in Cianjur. God willing, in the near future, PSDKU will operate in Cianjur. The proposed study program of course has superior accreditation and has great interest in Cianjur, one of which is Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD). And of course this is related to being a solution for improving human resources in Cianjur,” said Saepul.
