UHAMKA Meets with PP Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta to Discuss the Mufasir Conference and Tafsir At Tanwir
Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) warmly welcomed the audience from the Tarjih and Tasjid Council of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP) from Yogyakarta which was held in Meeting Room I, Floor 4, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UHAMKA (11/9).
The audience activity is a proposal for cooperation between PP Muhammadiyah and UHAMKA in preparation for holding the 2nd Mufasir Conference and also the completion of Tafsir At Tanwir where UHAMKA will be the organizer of this activity.
The activity was attended by Muhammad Dwifajri as Deputy Chancellor IV UHAMKA, Muhib Rosyidi as Chair of LPP AIK UHAMKA, Imron Baehaqi as Head of the Islamic Campus Development Division of LPP AIK UHAMKA and several representatives from PP Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta which included Ali Aulia as Secretary of the Qur’an and Hadith Studies Division, Amirudin of the Tarjih Council Secretariat, as well as several members of the Qur’an and Hadith Studies Division which included Miftah Hilmi, Abidah, Dewi Umaroh and Rafif Muzakki.
In his speech, Muhammad Dwifajri as Deputy Chancellor IV of UHAMKA said that UHAMKA would always support the mission of the Persyarikatan, especially in facilitating mufasir conference activities and preparing Tafsir At Tanwir.
“UHAMKA will always be ready to facilitate and support the da’wah of the Muhammadiyah association, one of which is through the success of the 2nd Mufasir Conference which will produce Tafsir At Tanwir products, namely interpretations of the Al Qur’an which, God willing, will have up to 30 Juz,” said Dwifajri.
Furthermore, Ali Aulia as Secretary of the Qur’an and Hadith Studies Division also expressed his appreciation for the availability of UHAMKA to facilitate the da’wah of the Muhammadiyah organization through the 2nd Mufasir Conference and the preparation of Tafsir At Tanwir which will include Tafsir of the Qur’an up to chapter 30.
“Thank you to UHAMKA for being willing to support the Persyarikatan’s da’wah, namely by facilitating the preparation of the Tafsir At Tanwir, namely the Tafsir of the Qur’an to Juz 30 which, God willing, will be completed in 2027 and also for the activities of the 2nd PP Muhammadiyah Mufasir Conference in Jakarta later,” said Ali.
